The demand for Sales Operations specialists is increasing every year. 85% of sales professionals say the role of sales ops has become more strategic (source: Salesforce).


Sales operations (SalesOps)  job is to increase sales productivity by simplifying processes and implementing sales automation tools, like email prospecting, CRM automation, various sales tool integrations. Beyond that, SalesOps are responsible for creating and maintaining documentation on sales processes, assisting with onboarding new sales representatives, and optimizing lead qualification and scoring.


SalesOps own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales process and conversion rates throughout the sales funnel. They proactively identify bottlenecks in the sales workflow and find ways to reduce them to make the sales machine go faster. They build reports & dashboards that inform sales reps, managers, and leadership on historical results, current performance, and expected results in the future.
